A lot of multi-touch devices are beginning to pop up (the iPhone, for instance), but this is straight out of Minority Report. Basic PC setups have been relatively unchanged for the past couple of decades (save, perhaps, for the advent of the flat-screen monitor), but the addition of multi-touch computing could take the genre into a whole new level.

Bita Gora Tsuichi
I've always been fascinated by Rube Goldberg machines, and these devices are particularly cool. Some of the most precise such machines I've ever seen, and they're still made completely out of household products. I just wish the end result was something better than the ubiquitous Japanese phrase "Bita Gora Tsuichi" which I can't translate now, but check back later and maybe I'll have cared enough to figure it out.

I just signed up to be a Google Tester
Here's hoping it pans out! It would oh-so-fantastic to be a dork and get paid for it.

Coolest mouse ever?
I do have a wireless mouse down there on my wish list, and they don't come much cooler than the Obsidian. I particularly like the touch scroll and the sexy styling. Sweet.

USB Chiller and Warmer? Heck Yes!
I've just discovered Brando (via Engadget), and while I was browsing for the first time I saw this drink chiller/warmer which, remarkably, runs off of USB power. The moral of the story? I want it. However, my computer is already stuffed to the gills with USB devices so I might have to get this nifty Card Reader/ Bluetooth Dongle/ USB Hub first in order to keep up. Holy man, this site rocks (and the gadgets are pretty cheap, too!)

The Time Fountain
I saw this when it was first released about a month ago, but I just happened upon it again and figured I'd share. It's pretty damn cool.
Hardware I want to boost my computer performance
